Dinosaur Footprint: One of the activities that we completed involved a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex footprint. We first predicted if we thought our feet or the dinosaurs feet were larger. After determining that the dinosaur feet were larger, we then predicted how many of our feet we thought were equal to one dinosaur footprint. Our estimates ranged from 2-10 zillion! In actuality, one student predicted correctly- we found that 36 of our feet are equal to one dinosaur footprint. (I have done this activity every year and have never ended up with the same number of feet- I don't know if my drawing of the footprint is getting less accurate, or if my students' feet are just getting larger!)
