Procedure:
First we painted the background. We looked at the
posters in our classroom and in many dinosaur books to see what other
artists thought the world looked like then.
Next we sponge painted dinosaurs onto our
background. We had to ensure that flying reptiles were flying, walking
dinosaurs were walking, and dinosaurs that spent time in water, were in
water. We also had to watch where we placed our dinosaurs as they were
going to be the characters in our stories and the illustrations should
match the stories.
Finally we created stories about our dinosaur
characters and presented the stories and illustrations to our classmates.
